The concept of the shoot is to celebrate black lives by going back to the original tribal roots and mixing it with the civil rights movement from stonewall to the BLM movement of today. Dance is and has been important in both cultures, therefore, I want to use that art form to communicate the message of empowerement and freedom the community deserves and is fighting for.
